Technical support
Optima Consulting provides both on-site and remote technical support services.
However, in order to help you faster, we will always try to find a solution for you via remote support first, then eventually send somebody on-site if required.
Remote support
We use TeamViewer technology (http://www.teamviewer.com) to remotely connect to your desktop.
In order to allow us to help you remotely, do the following:
- Download OptimaTeamViewerQuickSupport_6.exe and save it to your desktop
- Run the application by double clicking its icon on your dektop (no installation is required)
- Communicate the ID and Password to the support person
- After closing TeamViewer, the application connection will be permanently terminated. Each session requires a new unique ID and Password so that nobody can access your machine if you do not specifically decide to grant access. Please refer to the TeamViewer website above for any security considerations.
Remote presentations
We use also use TeamViewer technology (http://www.teamviewer.com) to run remote presentations or small webinars in the frame of software development projects.
To join a remote presentation, do the following:
- Download OptimaTeamViewerQuickJoin_6.exe and save it to your desktop
- Run the application by double clicking its icon on your dektop (no installation is required)
- Enter the Partner ID communicated to you by the presenter
- Enter your name and click the "Join" button
- Enter the presentation Password communicated to you by the presenter
- Wait for the presenter to start the presentation. You can leave the presentation at any point in time by simply closing the presention window
